How Can I confirm the RAID5 Is Installed and working correctly?

i have 4 1tb drives.

1 is the boot drive plugged into the motherboard.

3 are attached to the pc0010 raid board, everything looks ok.

i see 1 931 simple drive in windows7

i think it is ok i just want to make sure it is ok. so if a drive stops working all i will need to do is replace it with another correct? it will figure out everything else?
